TEA - Tenerife Espacio de las Artes is a spectacular center of contemporary art located in the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. In its container, designed by the architects Jacques Herzog, Pierre de Meuron and the canary Virgilio Gutiérrez, is the most important collection of works by the Tenerife surrealist painter Óscar Domínguez. The center made a call for project with the support of the Asociación de Profesionales y Empresas de Diseño de Canarias (di-ca), of which we are partners, resulting in us winning the proposal. TEA had a website designed back in 2008 that no longer met the growing needs of the center. Together with the TEA team, we proposed an innovative website with a customized content manager and the flexibility required by the center to accommodate all of its activity. We also handled the dump, conversion and treatment of all its previous content to adapt it to the new website. The result is one of the most exciting projects that our studio has tackled in recent years, partly due to the great reception and support of the TEA team, led by its manager Jerónimo Cabrera, its design manager Cristina Saavedra, and its head of press, Mayte Méndez. On our end, the team was made up of Aristides Perez (art director, web design, UX and UI), David Couto (programming and layout), Adriana Rodríguez (web design) and Miguel Fernández (project management).
